Death is only an illusion ... or art

A sticky film about a simple man with a far from simple plan, Marten Uit den Bogaard is one of the world’s top 10 bio artists. How can he get a new human part to use in his work? And the righs to his own body to become his own final work? Everything is just matter, but isn’t his own philosophy a bit too superficial? This contemplative but humorous documentary confronts us vigorously with our own private life and mortality, the western taboo of death.

Society change trough education and music

One afternoon in 1975, in a garage in Caracas, Venezuela, the then 36-year-old music professor and economist José Antonio Abreu began a crusade that seemed completely utopian. He wanted to save as many children as possible from poverty, the streets and criminality, by teaching them free of charge classical music and making them members of a classical Symphony Orchestra

Feet against the Wall !

Maher, a former political prisoner, an electrical engineer by profession, but an artist at heart, is a man who starts a quest against the society in order to stage the first original contemporary dance performance in Palestinian history. But to do so he must overcome several obstacles – time, money, insured dancer, his disapproving family and friends, and cultural norms. Set in today’s most contested location, Maher’s story is at once a parable about a society in conflict, and a modern take on — and inversion of — "The Jazz Singer," where the real war is between dreams and tradition.
