Workers rebels to nazi occupation 

27 May 1941, following massive strikes in the neighbouring Belgium displaying a heroic resistence of patrons refusing to give away politically active workers' names, and coming to a settlement, 100,00 minor in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region call a giant lockdown of the coalfields. Secretly organized by the clandestine French Communist Party, this conflict deprive the German war machine of 500,000 tons of coal. 10 June 1941: the strike draws to a close following a violent crackdown. When the german-soviet pact is cancelled, the nazi hunting communist starts, deportations follow. Women, iconic to the resistence, are decapitated on the public place in Köln.
